I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

Lee Kleinhelter's, the owner of the fabulous but pricey furnishing store Pieces, new home.
With perfection, she blends bold color, texture, and a diverse selection of furnishing and accessories. This aesthetic is right up my alley! I love to mix + blend, add pops of color + unexpected flourishes!!! Beautiful!! { for those who frequent my blog, i usually post my weekly finds on friday's but I just couldn't resist this amazing spread} HAPPY HALLOWEEN + WEEKEND!

Add to your art collection

E. Soule in this month's issue of Sunset Magazine

Artist Elizabeth Soule is featured in this month's issue of Sunset magazine. I came across Elizabeth's unique work, last Fall, shortly after the arrival of my little guy. I love the graphic quality and unique perspective she creates with her photos. She often uses a polaroid camera to capture her array of subjects. Her newest collection is of horses. The pieces are very reasonable and can be found here.

I may start a mini-collection for my son's room. We started with an elephant. (see below)

Nanette Lepore's den- ship chandelier

Looks very similar to the Rock and Royal lighting to me.

Add some glitter + glam

with a custom crystal chandelier from Rock + Royal. These intricate wonders would light up any drab space!! Designer Hans van Bentem's company also makes custom mosaics...

Looks familiar doesn't it?

Textile Designer - JOSEF FRANK

Italian Dinner
Want to add some life + color to your decor?? Simply add a dash or dose of Josef Frank fabric. Josef Frank was a Swedish designer, his career and work spanned over four decades and included furniture, lighting, architecture, glass + textile designs..
He produced over 200 textile patterns between 1909-1950. His fabric designs are so colorful, graphic + fun. Frank's designs were a warm contrast to the rigid lines of the Bauhaus movement. (1919-1933)
" The home does not have to be planned out in detail, just put together by pieces it's inhabitants love" - (Josef Frank) What a wonderful sentiment!
